<ns1:description language="en">This Bachelor thesis deals with the contribution of Social Work to Ecosocial Transformation, which is required by theory, and the cooperation with civic engagement. In the empirical research at hand, qualitative interviews were held with the managing director of the Austrian Association of Social Work, as well as with the founders of a civil society-oriented organization. The Ecosocial Transformation, by definition, is attributed a low priority by this association, because there is a lack of concern on behalf of society. However, it sees responsibility as a corner stone in form of networking as well as empowering civil society.</ns1:description>
