<ns1:description language="en">The following Bachelor Thesis, a qualitative research according to Gläser / Laudel (2010) concerns itself with counselling and information opportunities within the framework of the dementia strategy for social workers. 14 expert interviews delivered data material which was evaluated according to the qualitative content analysis by Mayring (2015). On the basis of the dementia strategy of Lower Austria necessary trainings and social skills were researched. The results show that social workers can support and advise due to their expertise in the context of dementia strategy. It became evident that the participation of the social work can be a relief for other professions. </ns1:description>
