<ns1:description language="en">The following qualitative case study in the context of the bachelor’s degree program Social Work, of the FH St. Pölten, elaborates on the experiences of people with disabilities within integrative, sheltered workshops. Through episodic interviews people with disabilities speak about their wishes, experiences and thoughts, which were then interpreted using the method of grounded theory. The results encourage among others to re-inspect and re-think how clients can be supported during a process of separation from staff members. The data can be used for further dialogue and attempts of improving the offered services, thus hopefully increasing and promoting further inclusion.</ns1:description>
