Diese Bachelorarbeit setzt sich mit der Frage auseinander, wie von Wohnungsnot betroffene Personen die Phase der Kontaktaufnahme zur Beratungsstelle für Wohnungssicherung des Vereins Wohnen erleben. Das Ziel ist das Erlangen von fundiertem Wissen über Bedürfnisse und Hürden, welche Betroffene diesbezüglich artikulieren. Die Daten wurden in narrativen Interviews nach Schütze (vgl. 1983) erhoben und durch Anwendung des offenen Kodierens nach Strauss und Corbin (vgl. 1996) ausgewertet. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Kontaktaufnahme oftmals durch fehlendes Wissen über die Wohnungssicherung nicht entstehen kann. Darüber hinaus entsteht er meist dann, wenn Betroffene keine Lösungsstrategien sehen und zunehmende Perspektivlosigkeit verspüren. In order to utilize services provided by social institutions first contact has to be established. This bachelor thesis deals with the question, how people who are affected with housing shortage experience the phase, when getting in contact with the social workers from Verein Wohnen, who help to secure the housing and to prevent homelessness. The aim of the thesis is to gain well-founded knowledge about the needs the people have and possible hurdles they are confronted with. The data was collected by four narrative interviews according to Schütze (see 1983) and analysed by using the grounded theory according to Strauss and Corbin (see 1996). The results show that contacting is often impossible due to a lack of knowledge about the service.
