Within the framework of a critical discourse analysis according to Keller (2011), the media discourse and the parliamentary discourse were traced between the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2020. With the help of the structural analysis according to Jäger (2011) and the open coding according to Strauss / Corbin (1999), the data material was evaluated qualitatively. In summary, the discourse has shown that economic factors should be optimised at the expense of specific groups of people. The human rights aspect contained therein was given special significance in the research, focusing on the associated challenges for social work with regard to the implementation of algorithmic profiling. Im Rahmen einer Kritischen Diskursanalyse nach Keller (2011) wurden im Zeitraum von Ende 2018 bis Anfang 2020 der mediale sowie der parlamentarische Diskurs nachgezeichnet. Mithilfe der Strukturanalyse nach Jäger (2011) und des Offenen Kodierens nach Strauss / Corbin (1999) wurde das Datenmaterial qualitativ ausgewertet. Zusammenfassend kann gesagt werden, dass aus dem Diskurs hervorgeht, dass eine Optimierung ökonomischer Faktoren auf Kosten von spezifischen Personengruppen stattfinden soll. Dem darin enthaltenen menschenrechtlichem Aspekt kam in der Forschung ein besonderer Stellenwert zu.
