Im Zentrum der filmischen Umsetzung stehen die Potenziale der Sozialen Arbeit in der Altenhilfe und die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema Wohnen im Alter. Julia Teufl beschäftigt sich mit Altersbildern und der Darstellung älterer Menschen im Bildmaterial bekannter österreichischer Pflegeorganisationen. Mit den Haltungen und Aspekten der Sozialen Arbeit, welche im Film aufgegriffen werden, setzt sich Sophie Mayer auseinander. Sandra Müllner widmet sich den medialen Hintergründen für die Umsetzung des Filmprojekts. Den Abschluss der Arbeit bildet die Prozessbeschreibung des Kurzfilms von Susanna Heinrich. This bachelor thesis provides insights into a research project consisting of the production of the short film titled „Selbstbestimmtes & Selbstständiges Wohnen im Alter“ and accompanying research based on it. The film focuses on the potentials of social work in elderly care and on the topic living in old age. Julia Teufl deals with images of old age and the representation of older people in the visual material of well-known Austrian care organisations. Sophie Mayer addresses the attitudes and aspects of social work that are taken up in the film. Sandra Müllner is dedicated to the media background for the realisation of the film project.
