o:4979 Das „Hamsterrad“ des Alleinerziehens Die Auswirkungen der (Nicht-)Nutzung von Unterstützungssystemen durch Alleinerzieher*innen de Fachhochschule St. Pölten, Bachelorarbeit 2022, Studiengang Soziale Arbeit Bezugnehmend auf die oftmals prekäre Ausgangslage von Ein-Eltern-Haushalten, zeigt diese Bachelorarbeit die Auswirkungen der (Nicht-)Nutzung von sozialen und selbstorganisierten Unterstützungssystemen für (ehemalige) Alleinerzieher*innen und vor allem alleinerziehende Frauen auf. In dieser Forschung wird der von Soziologin Ellen Bareis entwickelte Ansatz „from below“ genutzt. Die Daten wurden anhand von zwölf episodischen Interviews erhoben und mit der Auswertungsmethode „dokumentierendes Interpretieren“, ebenso nach Bareis, ausgewertet. Eine zentrale Erkenntnis ist, dass Alleinerzieher*innen seit den 1970ern von sozialen Problemen belastet sind. Das Ignorieren dieser Tatsache durch das politische System bestärkt nicht nur die Armutsgefährdung, sondern verschlechtert die gesundheitliche Situation von Alleinerzieher*innen. As single-parent households mostly evolve in precarious life contexts this bachelor thesis attends to show the effects of utilization and non-utilizations of social and self-organized support systems for (former) single-parents and especially single-mothering women. We used the approach “from below” in this research, which was developed by Ellen Bareis, a sociologist. The data was collected by twelve episodic Interviews which were evaluated by the method “documented interpretation”, also by Bareis. One of the core findings tells us that singleparents and especially single-mothering women are burdened by social problems.
